Description of Math Lessons B:2:
Each workbook page begins with Scripture plus a spiritual and math application. The Workbook B:2 pages are very clearly laid out to enable your student to well understand this unique biblical approach to learning fractions, time, and money.
For example, the study of fractions reminds that God wants us to give our “whole” heart to Christ, not just “part” of it. Since time was created for God’s purposes, He wants us to learn how to use time wisely for His glory. Money had its roots in the bartering system of Abraham’s era. Then came the system of weights and measures which gradually led to Old and New Testament coinage. Whether rich or poor, God wants His children of faith to be wise stewards of the resources He gives us in order to lay up “treasures in heaven.”

K5/B1st students can usually complete Math Levels A and B:1 in a year. Some students can also finish Level B:2. More advanced K5/B1st have even finished Levels A, B, and C in a typical school year, or shortly thereafter. For the best results, teach in sequence according to whatever pacing lovingly challenges your student’s God-given capabilities.
