## Description of Math Workbook B:2:

Each workbook page begins with Scripture plus a spiritual and math application. The Workbook B:2 pages are very clearly laid out to enable your student to well understand this unique biblical approach to learning fractions, time, and money.

### SPECIAL NOTICE ...

This book is included in Math Kit B (Part 005HS) and Add-On Kit B (Part 005AO).

This biblical study of fractions, time, and money (Parts 532 + 533) would be an excellent addition for any early math program.

For example, the study of **fractions** reminds that God wants us to give our "whole" heart to Christ, not just "part" of it. Since **time** was created for God's purposes, He wants us to learn how to use time wisely for His glory. **Money** had its roots in the bartering system of Abraham's era. Then came the system of weights and measures which gradually led to Old and New Testament coinage. Whether rich or poor, God wants His children of faith to be wise stewards of the resources He gives us in order to lay up "treasures in heaven."

### Pacing Suggestions:

**K5/B1st** students can usually complete Math Levels A and B:1 in a year. Some can also finish Level B:2. More **advanced** students
have been known to finish Levels A, B, and C in a typical school year, or shortly
thereafter. For the best results, teach in sequence at a pace which lovingly
challenges God-given capabilities.
